Olympics!!

In Te Maunga we learnt about the Olympics. We learnt about people that did the Olympics and also took notes in our books. We did posters that had to be about 3 people in the story. My favourite thing to learn about the Olympics was taking notes and making posters.

Pal day!

On the last day of Term 3 we played activities at school! We played 4 games and there was one that was about trying to score a goal but with a noodle floatie. We couldn't use anything else except the noodle, we had to push the ball into the goal and it wasn’t that hard! The next one I did was riding on a scooter or bike and going around some cones. At first I won but then I lost the next round when I was riding a bike. The next thing was throwing darts but not real ones and we had points that we landed on. The last thing I did was throw some tennis balls and try to score it in a bucket! One thing I liked doing was throwing the tennis balls in the bucket!

Nanogirl coming over to our school!!!

In Te Maunga a girl called Nanogirl came over to our school! We learnt about some stuff that she did like learning if a giant volleyball can float up the air with a leaf blower. She also picked people to come up on stage with her for the science things she wanted to do. My favourite part was the one where she had to pick two people with her and put a cup on one of the person's heads, and then try to blow it off your head! My other favourite part was that she had this weird cannon thing and it was big. She shot it and it looked like smoke but shaped as a ring!! The very last thing is the one where she had fire on her hands.

mind blowing facts about my Matariki work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Te Maunga we have been doing Matariki. We learnt some stuff about it in the stories about what happened and what their names were, we also learnt that there was one Matariki star that has no name, it was nameless. My favourite part about Matariki was taking notes and reading the stories about Matariki that have facts about it.
